GouMax TLS-100 product is the small-size tunable laser module. It was developed for customers with applications to integrate the tunable laser module into their line cards or systems for flexibility. TLS-100 shares the same technology and platform as TLS-1200 product, providing the compact high-performance continuous wave (CW) tunable laser sources for the use in various single wavelength bands, ranging from 1250 nm to 1680 nm. It can be used either as a wavelength switching laser or as a high-speed sweeping laser. The innovative design employs the state-of-the-art high-speed tunable technology and gain continuation in wide wavelength range. With no moving parts, the voltage-controlled wavelength tuning enables rapid wavelength switching over the whole operating wavelength window.
This specification describes and defines GouMax’s TLS-100 CW tunable light sources with applications to test and measurement. They provide fast wavelength tuning, high power output, and high power stability. With the built-in wavelength reference based on athermal interferometer technology, TLS-100 can conduct in-house wavelength calibration. GouMax TLS-100 tunable laser products support O-band, E-band, S-band, C-band, L-band, CL-band, U-band and other single-band operation.
System control and communication is provided though the RS232 interface, which allows users to dynamically set operating wavelength and control the laser with ease. It provides “Trigger Out” and “Sync Clock Out” signals.
